In this role, you will partner with the non‑investment and finance related business units to implement the risk and compliance management strategy. The chance - Effectively manage the breach assessment and reporting process across the Fund. Ensure that reportable situations are reported to regulators within the time frames imposed by law.
- Work with the Risk and Legal teams, Administrator and other business units to investigate and document incidents assessed by the Incident Management Forum as potentially reportable.
- Prepare breach assessment reports that include a recommendation as to whether the incident is a reportable situation.
- Maintain the ‘Breach Assessment’ module in the Fund’s Governance, Risk and Compliance tool, Archer.
- Support remediation and rectification efforts across the Fund.
- Identify areas for process, system or control improvement.
- Undertake data analysis to provide meaningful and timely reporting to business units, senior leaders, Board Committees and Board, in relation to breaches and other core compliance areas.
- Support business units by providing advice that will assist the business to comply with its legal, regulatory, license and statutory obligations.
- As required, provide support to the Compliance Team to prepare and implement Compliance policies and guidelines.
- Any other reasonable duties as requested by the Risk and Compliance leadership team.
About you - Relevant tertiary qualifications in Finance, Commerce, Law or similar (Desirable).
- At least 3 years’ experience working in or with the Financial Services industry (Desirable).
- RG 146 compliant (Desirable or willingness to obtain within first six months). What can we offer you?
