The Role Reporting directly to the Audit Director, you'll take ownership of audit engagements from planning through to completion while supervising team members and maintaining solid client relationships. You'll enjoy significant autonomy while continuing to receive support from an experienced leadership team.

Your Responsibilities

- Manage audit engagements from planning through to completion
- Supervise, coach and mentor auditors in the team
- Review work completed by the team and provide constructive feedback
- Build strong relationships with clients throughout the audit process
- Attend client meetings and act as a trusted point of contact
- Manage workflow, budgets and engagement deadlines
- Prepare and review audit documentation to a high technical standard




- Identify risks and communicate issues proactively with Directors
- Ensure compliance with Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards
- Contribute ideas to improve audit quality, efficiency and client service

About You Someone who enjoys taking ownership of their work and wants to continue developing as a trusted audit professional.

Ideally You'll Have

- Approximately 4+ years' experience in External Audit within Australia
- Ideally a qualified accountant
- Experience leading audit engagements from planning through completion
- Previous experience reviewing or supervising junior staff will help you in this role
- Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing and Accounting Standards
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A proactive, organised and client-focused approach
