Balgownie Estate are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pastry Chef to join our team.

Responsibilities:

- Prepare and produce a range of pastries, cakes, desserts, breads and other baked goods.
- Ensure all products are prepared consistently to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Assist in the development and testing of new desserts and seasonal menu items.
- Produce desserts for restaurant service, functions, weddings and events.
- Maintain exceptional standards of food quality, taste and presentation.
- Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic Kitchen.
- Comply with all Food Safety Standards and workplace health and safety requirements.

Qualifications:

- You’ve mastered the basics — minimum Certificate III in Commercial Cookery.
- Experience in the pastry section will be highly regarded.
- You’re calm under pressure and can handle a fast-paced kitchen without losing your smile.
- You’re a team player and clear communicator.
- You have your own reliable transport to get to our stunning Yarra Valley location.




- You have full Australian working rights and can work weekends.
