We are a well established structural steel company looking for a motivated and reliable Truck Driver / Structural Steel Installer to join our team.
This is more than a driving role. You'll be responsible for delivering structural steel to sites across metropolitan Adelaide while working alongside our installation crew to help deliver quality projects safely and efficiently.
Our work is predominantly within metropolitan Adelaide, offering consistent local work and excellent job stability.
About the Role
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering structural steel safely to construction sites throughout metropolitan Adelaide.
- Loading, unloading and securing structural steel for transport.
- Operating a truck-mounted UNIC crane (where licensed).
- Assisting with structural steel installation on-site.
- Working closely with our site supervisors and installation crews.
- Maintaining company vehicles and equipment.
- Following safe work practices and company procedures at all times.
About You
To be successful in this role you will have:
Essential
- HR Truck Licence (minimum)
- Construction White Card
- Solid work ethic and a positive attitude
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and safety focused
- Physically fit and willing to assist the installation crew when required
Highly Regarded
- Experience in structural steel or construction
- Experience operating a truck-mounted UNIC or Hiab crane
- Dogman or Rigging ticket
- Forklift Licence
- EWP Licence
- Crane ticket
