We’re looking for someone who is passionate about recruitment and excited to grow their career in Human Resources.
About the Role
Reporting to the Senior People & Culture Business Partner, you’ll play a key role in attracting and securing talent across our national business.
Recruitment will be your primary focus, managing end‑to‑end recruitment across blue‑collar, technical and professional roles while partnering closely with leaders to deliver an exceptional candidate experience.
Beyond recruitment, you’ll become an integral member of the People & Culture team, supporting employee lifecycle activities, contributing to HR projects, improving processes and developing your knowledge across broader HR disciplines.

Key Responsibilities
Recruitment
- Manage end‑to‑end recruitment across operational, technical and corporate roles.
- Partner with leaders to understand workforce needs and deliver recruitment solutions.
- Prepare engaging advertisements and manage candidate attraction strategies.
- Screen applications, coordinate interviews and manage candidate communications.
- Deliver an exceptional candidate experience from application through to onboarding.
- Support recruitment for specialist and leadership positions when required.
- Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and employer branding.
People & Culture
- Prepare employment contracts, variations and employee documentation.
- Coordinate onboarding, mobilisation and off‑boarding activities.
- Maintain HR systems and employee records.
- Prepare workforce reporting and People & Culture metrics.
- Support compliance activities, audits and documentation management.
- Assist with HR projects, process improvements and organisational initiatives.
- Develop your capability across employee relations, policy and business partnering.
About You
You’ll be someone who genuinely enjoys building relationships and helping people find the right opportunity.
Ideally you’ll bring:
- Experience managing end‑to‑end recruitment, either internally or within an agency.
- Previous experience in Human Resources, People & Culture or recruitment.
- A genuine desire to build a long‑term career in Human Resources.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- High attention to detail and a proactive mindset.
- Experience using recruitment or HR systems.
Qualifications (desirable)
- Certificate IV or tertiary qualifications in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or currently studying).
- Experience within mining, industrial, construction or heavy industry will be highly regarded.
