This role is classified as Level4role under SBS Australia's current EnterpriseAgreement(with a base salary range of $99,377 - $109,890). The successful applicant will be offeredremunerationthat iscommensuratewith their skills and experienceand in alignment with this framework.
The Role
Reporting to theHead of Planning and Development, theAudio Publishing Specialistplays a key role in delivering and optimising SBS Audio's digital audio publishing across SBS platforms and leading third-party podcast services.
Working with editorial, production,technologyand digital teams,you'llsupport the end-to-end publishing lifecycle of multilingual podcasts—from production and feed management through to distribution,promotionand platform optimisation.You'llalso contribute to new audio initiatives, platform improvements and publishing workflows that help SBS reach audiences wherever they choose to listen.
Key responsibilities include:
Managing the end-to-end publishing lifecycle of SBS Audio podcasts, ensuring high-quality digital audio experiences across SBS-owned and third-party platforms.
Producing and coordinating multilingual podcast delivery, working with editorial teams to take content from production through to publication.
Delivering podcast publishing operations that maximise content discoverability, audience reach and platform performance.
Collaborating with editorial,technologyand production teams to implement new publishing capabilities and continuously improve digital audio experiences.
Driving innovation across digital audio through new platforms,
publishingworkflowsand multimedia podcast initiatives.
About you
We’relooking for someone who brings:
Demonstrated experience in podcast production, digital audiopublishingor audio content operations.
Strong knowledge of podcast publishing platforms, RSS feeds, metadata management and third-party distribution services such as Spotify and Apple Podcasts.
Experience using audio editing software, CMSplatformsand podcast publishing tools.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple publishing schedules and competing priorities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with editorial,productionand technical teams.
An interest in digital innovation and delivering great audio experiences for diverse audiences.Experience working with multilingual or multicultural content is highly regarded.
