The Opportunity

Concierge Balwyn Retirement Living is a welcoming, low-maintenance community in one of Melbourne's leafiest suburbs, just 12km from the CBD and close to Maranoa Botanic Gardens, Box Hill Hospital and Westfield Doncaster. As aPersonal Care Attendant, you will provide high-quality personal care, socialsupportand dailyassistanceto residents within their Aveo home. Our Personal Care Attendants have a robust focus on wellbeing, promoting independence, building socialconnectionandassistingwith day-to-day tasks.

This is a casual role, helping our team on an ad-hocbasis with covering leave or when we need an extra pair of hands!

Your Impact

- Work independently within resident units to provide in-home support including personal hygiene, medication, house cleaning, laundry and more!
- Interact with residents within their homes or spend time out in the community completing daily activities (e.gdriving them to appointments or light exercise)
- Provide care, tailored to the resident's needs in line with their current care plans
- Complete simple administration tasks, ensuring resident notes are up to date
- Follow all Aveo OH&S; policies and procedures and report any safety,securityand resident incidents

Whatyou'llbring

- Experience as a Support Worker or a Home Care Worker, with a passion for community care,independenceand wellbeing
- Friendly,adaptableand proactive attitude, with a passion for being part of a community environment
- Strong communicationskills, with a genuine ability to build meaningful connections with residents
- Certificate III/IV in Aged Care, Individual Support,



Disability or Health Services Assistance (required)
- Valid driver’s licence + vehicle (required)
- Current First Aid & CPR certificate and two COVID-19 Vaccinations (required)
