We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer to join a major enterprise Data Migration program with a leading National Retailer. This is a hands-on engineering role focused on migrating data from multiple legacy platforms into a modern cloud-based CRM environment. You will design scalable data pipelines, develop sophisticated transformation logic and ensure data is accurately cleansed, validated and reconciled throughout the migration lifecycle.

The role would suit a Senior Data Engineer with solid cloud and data migration expertise who has worked on CRM, Salesforce, SaaS or other major enterprise transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build end-to-end data pipelines supporting a large-scale CRM migration
- Extract, transform and migrate data from multiple legacy and enterprise platforms
- Develop complex SQL transformation, mapping and data-processing logic
- Implement source-to-target mappings and reusable migration frameworks
- Profile, cleanse, standardise and remediate complex data
- Build automated validation, reconciliation, audit and data-quality controls
- Investigate failed records, migration exceptions and data-quality issues
- Support migration rehearsals, performance testing,



cutover and post-load remediation
- Work closely with CRM, cloud, integration, business and upstream data teams
- Contribute to cloud-based data engineering and migration best practices

Key Skills and Experience

- Strong enterprise Data Engineering and Data Migration experience
- Demonstrated experience delivering complex data migrations involving multiple source systems
- Strong cloud data engineering experience across Azure, AWS or Google Cloud
- Advanced SQL capability, including complex transformations and data analysis
- Experience developing and orchestrating ETL or ELT pipelines using modern data integration tools
- Experience with tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Informatica, Talend or similar
- Strong data profiling, cleansing, validation and reconciliation experience
- Experience migrating data into a CRM, Salesforce, SaaS or cloud-based enterprise platform
- Salesforce data migration experience is highly desirable
- Experience with data mapping, migration frameworks and high-volume data processing
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to investigate complex data issues
