The Opportunity

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our Business Intelligence team and help build scalable, cloud-based data solutions.

You’ll work across a contemporary stack, delivering end-to-end data pipelines, models, and analytics capabilities, while uplifting data quality and driving automation across the business.

This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone passionate about modern data engineering, cloud platforms, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and build scalable data pipelines (ETL/ELT)
- Develop and maintain data models for analytics and reporting
- Ensure data quality, reliability and governance
- Automate data workflows in a cloud-first environment
- Troubleshoot and optimise data performance issues
- Collaborate with BI, IT, and business stakeholders
- Contribute to data platform architecture and best practices

Must-Have Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with:

- Snowflake
- DBT
- AWS Serverless Data Lake Framework
- Advanced SQL and data modelling skills
- Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines
- Experience working in cloud-based data environments
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills




- 4 years’ experience in Data Engineering / BI

Nice to Have

- Power BI or Tableau experience
- Exposure to CI/CD, DevOps or DataOps practices
- Experience with GitLab or similar platforms
- Domain experience in finance, retail, or supply chain
- Relevant certifications (AWS, Snowflake)
