This is a newly created role at an established Australian DTC retail brand. It trades through physical stores and online, it's growing internationally, and it's opening new stores locally at the same time as pushing hard into e-commerce. You'd be the first dedicated analyst this business has hired.

Conversion sits at 0.9% today. The target is 1.5% and above. Traffic is robust, so the problem isn't demand. It's the funnel, the on-site experience, and the fact that nothing's been tested properly.

That number hasn't had a real owner until now.

Two things sit inside this role.

The first is the full purchase funnel, from traffic through to checkout. You find exactly where in the journey people and clicks drop off, then make the case for what to fix. You'll be hands-on in GA4, reading it with a marketer's instinct, and turning what you find into something the business can act on straight away.

The second is the business's Meta and Google ad spend, reported through an agency.



You pull the real data yourself and tell the business what's actually happening with that spend.

There's no structured testing running today. Setting that up is part of the job you're walking into. As the store footprint grows, more physical locations, more international markets, this role grows with it, reading online and in-store performance as one picture.

You'll report into the e-commerce team, with direct exposure to the CEO on the numbers that matter. Based in the Eastern Suburbs, in the office five days a week ideally, with flexibility to four for the right person.

The data's already clean, Shopify, GA4, Klaviyo, so your time goes straight into analysis. You'll need a strong e-commerce background for this one.
