Development Manager Your Current Role An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Development Manager to join a small - Established property developer based in Brisbane.

With a strong pipeline of residential projects, this role will see you take ownership of developments throughout the entire project life cycle, with a particular focus on project delivery and construction.

Working closely with senior stakeholders, you will be responsible for managing predominantly apartment developments ranging from low-rise projects through to larger high-rise schemes. This is a hands-on position requiring a commercially astute development professional who is comfortable managing multiple work streams and driving projects through to successful completion.

Key responsibilities

- Managing residential development projects from acquisition through to completion
- Preparing and reviewing development feasibilities, budgets and project reporting
- Coordinating consultants throughout planning, design and approval phases
- Managing tender processes, procurement and contractor appointments
- Overseeing contract administration and project delivery activities
- Working closely with builders, superintendents and project managers throughout construction
- Monitoring project programmes, costs, risks and development performance
- Managing stakeholder relationships across consultants, contractors and authorities
- Ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget and to the required quality standards





This is a permanent opportunity with interviews scheduled for late June and early July and a target commencement date within the next two months.

What You'll Need to Succeed

To be considered, you will have a minimum of five years' development management experience and a strong track record of delivering residential developments, particularly apartment projects.

- Extensive experience across apartment developments
- Exposure to low-rise, mid-rise and high-rise residential projects
- Proven delivery-phase expertise, including tender management, contract administration and builder management
- Experience managing developments through the full project life cycle rather than focusing solely on acquisitions, feasibility or design coordination
- Strong construction knowledge and the ability to work effectively alongside project managers and superintendents
- Excellent commercial, financial and stakeholder management skills
- The ability to operate autonomously and take ownership of projects
- Strong communication and relationship management skills

Candidates with Assistant Development Manager experience will also be considered where they can demonstrate significant hands-on involvement in project delivery and development management responsibilities.
