About The Role

Delivery:

- Leveraging your expertise to guide and deliver world-class native iOS applications for leading organisations in South Africa.
- Driving engineering excellence through up-to-date iOS development practices, continuous integration, automated testing, and a streamlined DevOps culture.
- Engaging in various stages of the SDLC, from system design to analysis, scoping, and estimation.
- Researching innovative technologies and implementing them in projects to drive innovation.

People:

- Demonstrating maturity, motivation, and leadership in the workplace.
- Championing change within the team and fostering a collaborative culture.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to tackle complex business challenges, driving continuous improvement.
- Mentoring and coaching team members to uphold standards of excellence and accountability while helping them grow.
- Carrying out regular team and individual feedback through involvement in monthly one-on-ones and twice-yearly performance reviews.
- Leading your team in implementing best practices and processes.

What We're Looking For:

- A bachelor's degree in IT, Engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 6 years' experience as an iOS software engineer in an enterprise environment.
- Experience driving a delivery team together with other disciplines to successfully deliver a product.
- A hunger to continually improve those around you through mentorship, guidance, and awareness of what drives those on your team.
- Strong expertise in native iOS development using Swift, with a solid understanding of Apple's development ecosystem.
- Experience building scalable, maintainable mobile applications with clean architecture and best practices.
- Ability to architect and structure mobile solutions within an enterprise environment.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills with a drive for continual improvement.
- Pro hybrid working model working from the office on average 2 to 3 times per week .
- A strong customer-facing ability.
- Flexibility to work across a variety of different environments and tooling.

What To Expect from the Recruitment Process:

- The first step is an initial conversation with our talent team to get to know you better and introduce you to Entelect and all that we have to offer.
- The next step will be a 1.5-hour in‑person technical interview at one of our offices where you will meet some of our leadership team.
- Following the technical interview, we will invite you back for an in‑person case study presentation where we will give you the opportunity to showcase your leadership skills.
