Our client is an enterprise-backed systems technology business that has retained a start-up feel despite its scale. They're moving multiple existing entities from legacy finance systems onto D365 F&O;, with an active M&A; strategy bringing new businesses into the fold across jurisdictions. It's a fast-paced environment where you'll have real ownership over how finance is structured as the group grows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own solution design across core finance modules - GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash and Bank Management, Budgeting
- Build the multi-entity finance blueprint - chart of accounts, legal entity, and intercompany structure
- Run fit-gap analysis and shape the target-state F&O; model
- Lead cross-jurisdiction workshops on statutory, tax, and reporting requirements
- Own the M&A; onboarding model - setup, data migration, localisation
- Lead consultants and BAs; be the go-to for finance stakeholders end-to-end
Key Requirements:
- 5+ years' D365 F&O; consulting, deep in core finance
- Track record leading multi-entity, multi-jurisdiction implementations
- Legacy-to-F&O; migration experience (data, parallel run, cutover)
- Proven M&A; entity onboarding into live F&O; instances
- Robust workshop and stakeholder management skills across regions
- D365 F&O; certification (Finance/FCE preferred)
Nice to Have:
- Experience with tax engines (e.g. Vertex, Avalara) or statutory reporting add-ons
- Exposure to Power Platform for finance reporting and workflow automation
- Prior experience in shared services or group finance transformation environments
- Multi-currency and multi-jurisdiction statutory reporting experience
- Working knowledge of Sure Step, Success by Design, or equivalent delivery methodology
- Background working within a Microsoft partner or SI delivery environment
