THE JOB

Snowy Valleys Council is seeking an experienced and inspiring executive leader to join our Executive Leadership Team as Director Infrastructure & Works.

Reporting directly to the General Manager, you will lead a large and diverse infrastructure portfolio with responsibility for the strategic planning, delivery and management of Council's roads, bridges, water and wastewater services, waste management, parks and open spaces, buildings, fleet, emergency management, asset planning and capital works program.

Leading a multidisciplinary workforce of more than 110 employees, you will provide strategic direction while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation and continuous improvement. Working closely with the General Manager, Councillors, Executive Leadership Team and key stakeholders, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of infrastructure service delivery across the Snowy Valleys.

THE BENEFITS

This is a permanent, full time, Award-based position of 70 hours per fortnight
