Permanent An exciting prospect has become available for an experienced Data Lead to establish and lead the data capability for a growing, multi-site organisation.

This is a genuine greenfield opportunity where you'll define the data strategy, build a modern data platform and create a trusted, data-driven environment that supports strategic decision-making across the business. Working closely with the Executive Leadership Team, you'll combine strategic leadership with hands‑on technical delivery, remaining actively involved in SQL, data modelling, reporting and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute the organisation's enterprise data strategy.
- Design and build a scalable data platform and reporting capability.
- Write complex SQL, develop data models and deliver executive dashboards.
- Integrate multiple business systems into a single source of truth.
- Deliver commercial insights that improve business performance, operational efficiency and decision making.
- Establish data governance, quality standards and best practices.
- Partner with executive stakeholders to identify opportunities for automation, forecasting and AI-driven analytics.
- Help shape and grow the organisation's long‑term data capability.

You'll bring:

- Proven experience as a Data Lead, Head of Data or Data Manager.
- Advanced SQL skills with hands‑on experience in data modelling,



analytics and dashboard development.
- Strong experience designing enterprise data platforms, data warehouses and ETL/ELT solutions.
- Expertise with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
- Experience integrating multiple business systems into a centralised reporting environment.
- Experience building or transforming a data and analytics capability from the ground up.
- Experience working within a multi‑site, multi‑entity or operationally complex organisation (such as healthcare, retail, professional services or similar).
- Experience delivering measurable commercial outcomes through data and analytics, not just reporting.
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence executive leaders and translate technical concepts into commercial outcomes.
- A naturally curious, commercially minded approach with a passion for solving complex business problems through data.
