Job Description - Senior Mainframe Analyst/Engineer:

- Technical skills Required: COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC, MQ
- Tools: Endevor , Abendaid, Xpediter, File-AID, OPC, ServiceNow, Rally, Confluence
- Role: Mainframe Developer / Unit testing / System testing with Minimum 7 years of Mainframe experience .

Responsibilities:

- Strong understanding of SDLC and hands on experience with end-to-end life cycle activities
- Substantial experience working with agile Methodology & working in squads
- Proficiency with hands on development, with key focus on mainframe application development
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills




- Excellent communication, organizational and time management skills
- Advanced skills mainframe languages such as COBOL, JCL, VSAM, DB2 SQL, IMS (both DB and DC), CLIST/REXX, MQ
- Knowledge of Key Mainframe tools such as JIRA, CONFLUENCE, Expeditor, Endevor, File-aid, OPC, SPUFI, FileAid-DB2, ICE TOOL, Abend-Aid, MQ

Experience:

- Minimum of 7 years’ experience with mainframe application development
- Required skills:
- COBOL, JCL, DB2, IMS DB/DC and MQ … these are mandatory
