About the role

We're building the next generation of our AI education pathway: a three tier program taking women from their first AI prompt through to leading AI strategy at an organisational level. We need someone to design the curriculum for the first two tiers, AI Ready (a 6 week foundational program) and AI Capable (an 8 week program covering automation and multi-agent workflows). We'll also be open to seeing this same person also facilitate the live sessions of our accelerator program.

This is a genuine build from the ground up. You'll be creating original frameworks and content, not adapting someone else's IP, so if you love the idea of building your own program to cater to the way women learn best then this is for you.

Key Responsibilities

- Design the full session by session curriculum for AI Ready (6 weeks) and AI Capable (8 weeks), including learning objectives, content, homework and resource templates for each session
- Develop original, WID owned frameworks for structured prompting, custom AI assistant building, and responsible AI use
- Build practical, hands on exercises that work for a genuinely mixed audience, from women who've never opened an AI tool to those already running custom assistants day to day
- Iterate the curriculum in response to participant feedback across cohorts
- Work alongside our mentor pool and guest speakers to keep content current and grounded in real practice
- Facilitate weekly live sessions, run Q&A; and breakout discussions,



and support the in-person workshop and showcase at the end of AI Capable program

About you

- Real experience designing curriculum or training content, ideally in adult education, corporate learning and development, or a similar setting
- Confident, hands on user of AI tools across multiple platforms (ChatGPT, Claude, Copilot, custom GPTs), not just familiar with the concepts or one platform
- Able to translate technical ideas into plain language for people at very different starting points
- Comfortable building original frameworks knowing that Women in Digital will own all intellectual property in the curriculum, frameworks and materials you create under this contract, with no exceptions
- If applying to deliver: confident facilitating live online sessions and comfortable holding a room (physical or virtual) with warmth and clarity to create a psychologically safe workplace

Nice to haves

- Experience with no-code automation platforms (Make.com, Zapier) or agentic AI workflows
- Background in the VET or adult education sector
- Experience presenting to non-technical, mixed seniority audiences
- A genuine interest in gender equity in technology and why representation in AI matters right now
- This is a contract role, not employment. You'll be engaged as an independent contractor for the scope of this project, not as a Women in Digital employee.
- Women in Digital owns everything produced. All curriculum materials, frameworks, session content, templates and any other intellectual property you create under this contract are owned solely by Women in Digital, both during the engagement and after it ends. This will be a term of the contract you sign.
- Fee negotiable based on experience and whether you're taking on design, delivery, or both
- Delivery is via weekly live online sessions, with one in-person workshop day for AI Capable (Sydney based, travel supported for interstate facilitators)
- Start date: flexible, with curriculum development beginning ASAP ahead of the next cohort launch
