Multiple Opportunities | CBD & Inner/South-Eastern Suburbs | Hybrid Flexibility
Your Wills & Estates Experience Could Take You Somewhere Better
If you're an experienced Wills & Estates Legal Assistant, Probate Clerk or Paralegal and you're wondering what else is out there, I'd love to have a conversation.
I'm currently working with multiple law firms across Melbourne who are looking for experienced support professionals to join their Wills & Estates teams.
These aren't one-size-fits-all opportunities.
Depending on what you're looking for, you could find yourself working one-on-one with a highly experienced estate litigator, supporting Partners across a broad Wills & Estates practice, managing a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, or joining a close-knit team where collaboration is at the heart of everything they do.
And the best part?
You don't need to choose your next move based on a job description alone. We can have a confidential conversation about what you're looking for, and I'll talk you through the opportunities that genuinely align with your experience and career goals.
The Opportunities
I am currently recruiting across a range of Wills & Estates environments, including:
CBD
Work within established Melbourne CBD practices supporting experienced practitioners across estate litigation, probate and complex estate matters.
One opportunity offers the chance to work closely and one-on-one with a highly experienced estate litigator, providing high-level support across complex and interesting matters.
South-Eastern Suburbs
Join a collaborative Wills & Estates team supporting two Partners across the full spectrum of Wills & Estates work, including estate planning, probate, estate administration and litigation.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys being part of a team while still having genuine responsibility and ownership of their work.
Bayside
Step into a Paralegal opportunity supporting a substantial portfolio of high-net-worth clients, working across sophisticated Wills & Estates matters and providing hands-on support throughout the client lifecycle.
Inner-City Opportunities
A number of additional opportunities are available across Melbourne's inner-city suburbs, offering exposure to a variety of Wills & Estates and Probate matters within established and highly regarded practices.
Depending on the role, you may be working closely with senior practitioners or as part of a broader team environment.
The Work Depending on the opportunity, your responsibilities may include:
- Preparing Probate and Letters of Administration applications
- Assisting with the administration of deceased estates
- Supporting estate planning and Wills matters
- Working across estate litigation and complex disputes
- Drafting correspondence and legal documentation
- Liaising with executors, beneficiaries and external stakeholders
- Managing estate assets, distributions and related documentation
- Coordinating matters from commencement through to completion
- Managing files, diaries and key deadlines
- Providing high-level support to Partners, Principals and senior practitioners
- Working with high-net-worth clients and complex estate matters
About You
To be considered, you'll have previous experience working within Wills & Estates, Probate or Estate Litigation in a law firm environment.
You may be:
- A Senior Legal Assistant looking for your next career move
- An experienced Probate Clerk ready to step into a broader role
- A Wills & Estates Paralegal looking for greater responsibility
- Someone with a strong background in estate litigation
- An experienced legal support professional looking to move into a more sophisticated practice
You'll bring strong organisational skills, attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities, along with a genuine interest in developing your career within Wills & Estates.
Experience with LEAP or similar legal practice management systems will be highly regarded.
Why Consider These Opportunities? The firms I'm currently working with offer a range of benefits, including:
- Hybrid and flexible working arrangements
- Supportive Partners and Principals who genuinely value their legal support teams
- Opportunities to work on complex and high-quality matters
- Boutique and established law firms with solid staff retention
- Collaborative and friendly team environments

You don't need to be actively looking.
Let's have a confidential conversation about what you're doing now, what you'd like to be doing next, and I'll let you know which opportunities might be worth exploring.
