The Opportunity

Veolia is seeking an experienced Planning & Reliability Engineer to lead asset management and maintenance planning at our Springvale Water Treatment Facility in Lithgow. What you'll be responsible for

Your responsibilities will include:

Lead compliance and strategy – Develop and implement asset management plans that ensure operational availability and asset integrity

Optimise maintenance delivery – Create and manage work orders for routine, preventive, and breakdown maintenance across all assets

Drive reliability – Establish condition monitoring programs, conduct root cause analysis for incidents, and implement corrective actions

Plan for the future – Develop capital replacement programs and long-term preventive maintenance strategies

Manage resources – Oversee inventory,



spare parts assessment, and CMMS system updates

Deliver results – Prepare budgets, reports, and KPIs; lead Reliability Centred Maintenance workshops

Champion improvement – Support problem-solving initiatives and foster a culture of continuous improvement across operations and maintenance teams

What you'll need to be successful

- Engineering qualifications or experience deemed equivalent
- Advanced understanding of CMMS in an industrial environment
- Knowledge of chemical, mechanical and electrical assets
- Maintenance and shutdown work pack experience
