The School is located just two kilometres from the city centre on a single 80-acre campus. Our modern, purpose built Boarding House provides accommodation for 100 students from within Australia and overseas.

About the position

St Peter's College is currently seeking applications for a STEM Teacher within our Junior School in preparation for the 2027 School year.

Teaching staff at St Peter's College are a critical component in achieving the School’s Vision and Values and the Strategic Plan. By operating with the highest standards of integrity, professionalism and diligence they will ensure that a highly supportive and collaborative culture is promoted across the School. A teacher who creates a positive learning environment, that nurtures and fulfils the potential of all students, will enable all learners to strive to achieve their best.

This is a fixed-term, full-time (1.0 FTE) teaching contract for 2027, with the potential for ongoing employment from 2028.

Desired Skills And Experience

As the successful applicant you will

- Have a willingness to support the School’s values and Anglican ethos.
- Hold relevant teaching qualifications.
- Demonstrate excellence in Junior School pedagogy.




- Demonstrated ability to apply the principles of inclusive teaching and learning to create a supportive and challenging environment for students.
- Plan and implement an engaging and vibrant teaching and learning program.
- Have a South Australian Teachers Registration and Working with Children Check.
- Provide evidence of completed training in Responding to Risks of Harm, Abuse and Neglect - Education and Care, and First Aid.
