Podiatrist – Experienced & New Grads - Longreach, Queensland

Position Highlights:

- Competitive salary from $82,858 to $105,893 per annum + Super (pro-rata for part time) based on qualifications & experience

- Salary sacrificing options up to $15,900

- 5 weeks annual leave plus leave loading of 17.5%

- $180 per fortnight Rental Subsidy

Employment Type:

- Permanent – Full-Time or Part Time hours on offer up to 38 hours per week.

This organisation is a leading not-for-profit healthcare provider delivering allied health, mental health, aged care and community services across more than 50 rural, regional and remote Queensland communities. Since 1993, they have been helping people live healthier lives.

Use your podiatry skills where they will have the greatest impact. Relocate to Longreach, Queensland and join their welcoming and supportive Allied Health team. You will become part of a well-established multidisciplinary allied health service, working alongside experienced clinicians who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to rural and remote communities.

Position Description:

This role includes regular outreach travel to surrounding communities, with occasional overnight stays depending on service needs. Travel is completed in a work vehicle, with driving undertaken during work hours wherever possible. Where after-hours travel is required, time in lieu is provided in accordance with organisational policy.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assess, diagnose, and treat a wide range of Podiatry conditions

- Deliver diabetic foot care and manage chronic health conditions including rheumatoid arthritis and peripheral vascular disease

- Provide education that empowers clients to take control of their health

- Collaborate with GPs, nurses, allied health professionals, and support services

- Provide outreach services across regional and remote communities, travelling by fleet vehicle with travel, accommodation and meals covered by the organisation

Essential Position Requirements:

- Current AHPRA registration (or eligibility to obtain registration)

- Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent qualification

- Current unrestricted Australian C Class Driver's Licence

- Full Australian working rights

- This organisation is committed to child safety: pre-employment screening, including referee checks, a current Blue Card, Australian Federal Police check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check are required prior to commencement

After Hours Requirements:

No,but if after-hours travel is required, time in lieu is provided in accordance with organisational policy.
