Senior Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Nurse – Perth Veterinary Emergency (PVE) Cannington Located at T26, Primewest Cannington 1490 Albany Highway, Cannington, 6107, WA. We are looking for an experienced Senior Emergency & Critical Care Veterinary Nurse to join our high‑performing team. The role involves stabilising critical patients, mentoring junior nurses, and collaborating with veterinarians to deliver exceptional emergency care.

- Monitor and care for complex, hospitalised and critically ill patients.
- Assist veterinarians with emergency procedures, diagnostics, anaesthesia and advanced treatments.
- Perform patient triage and support emergency admissions.
- Provide exceptional care and communication to pet owners during challenging circumstances.




- Maintain accurate patient records and uphold high clinical and hospital standards.
- Support the onboarding and development of new and junior nurses.
- Provide guidance, coaching and knowledge‑sharing during shifts.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and best‑practice nursing care.
- Assist in maintaining a positive, collaborative and high‑performing team culture.
- Act as a senior clinical resource for colleagues when required.

Qualifications & Skills - Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent).

- Solid experience in emergency and critical care nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and confidence managing emergency presentations.
- Passion for mentoring and supporting less experienced nurses.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to remain calm, organised and adaptable in a fast‑paced environment.
- Commitment to delivering outstanding patient and client care.
- Collaborative approach and positive attitude.
- Experience mentoring or supporting junior team members.
