3-month Senior Financial Accountant contract opportunity with a membership organisation dedicated to driving meaningful initiatives, delivering sustainable growth and impactful representation for its members. The finance team is prioritising process improvement, focusing on BAU and implementation of Microsoft D365 Business Central. This is a close‑knit team and currently have a hybrid working arrangement (3 days at the Parramatta office / 2 days WFH).

Location: Parramatta, Current South Wales

Role Description

Reporting to the CFO, your role will focus on financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting, tax compliance, day‑to‑day finance operations, and assisting with the implementation of a new system – Microsoft D365 Business Central. You will work collaboratively with the CFO and finance team to support the finance function, strengthen finance systems, governance and effective operations of the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

- Preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.




- Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Prepare BAS and FBT returns and assist with other tax compliance.
- Manage month‑end and year‑end close processes.
- Perform financial reconciliations and analysis.
- Manage day‑to‑day finance operations across the team.
- Collaborate with the team on improvements to financial systems and processes.
- Provide support with financial audits and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications and Skills

- Tertiary qualification, and CA or CPA qualification (or working towards).
- Strong financial reporting, reconciliations, and tax compliance experience.
- Experience with Microsoft D365 Business Central, and Advanced Excel skills.
- Excellent communicator and stakeholder engagement skills.

Benefits

- 3‑month contract position paying $55–65p/h plus super.
