Lead the finance function of a growing Australian business with national operations and an expanding footprint.

Reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer, this is an opportunity to lead the financial control function of a growing, commercially focused organisation operating across multiple entities.

Leading a sizeable finance team, you'll take ownership of financial reporting, governance, tax, treasury and compliance while helping shape the next stage of the finance function. Alongside day-to-day financial leadership, you'll play a key role in systems optimisation, process improvement and strengthening the financial capability of the business as it continues to grow.

The organisation operates in a fast-paced environment, with continued investment in growth, operational improvement and finance transformation, offering genuine scope to influence both the finance function and the broader business.

About the Role

Reporting to the CFO, your responsibilities will include:

- Leading the financial control function across a multi-entity group
- Managing month-end, year-end and statutory reporting
- Overseeing tax, audit, treasury and compliance activities
- Managing cash flow, balance sheet integrity and financial governance
- Leading consolidations, intercompany accounting and foreign exchange processes
- Driving finance systems optimisation, reporting automation and continuous process improvement
- Leading, mentoring and developing a high-performing finance team (on and off-shore)
- Partnering with operational leaders to improve commercial performance and financial outcomes
- Supporting strategic initiatives, business growth and future expansion opportunities

About You

You are an experienced Financial Controller or senior Finance Manager who enjoys combining technical excellence with commercial leadership. You're comfortable operating in a fast-paced setting and have a track record of building structure,



improving processes and leading high-performing finance teams.

You'll likely bring:

- CA or CPA qualification
- 10 years Financial Accounting Experience required
- Strong experience across financial reporting, consolidations, tax, audit and compliance
- Experience leading medium to large finance teams
- Advanced systems capability, with experience driving finance transformation and process improvement
- Strong commercial acumen and the ability to partner effectively with operational stakeholders
- Experience within construction, manufacturing, engineering, industrial, infrastructure or other asset-intensive industries will be highly regarded
- Exposure to private equity-backed, high-growth or multi-entity organisations will be viewed favourably
- Big Four Chartered background will be highly regarded, but is not essential
- Prior experience - Senior Finance Manager or Financial Controller role
