Your New Role

Reporting to the financial reporting manager at group level, you will play a critical role with periodic reporting, handle stat accounts, JV accounting requirements and more. You'll also serve as the finance business partner to corporate functions like HR, Legal, Finance, IT, Procurement, setting budgets, variance analysis, financial insights, and decision support - with fancy slide decks and presentations as required. Things are dialled in, but with your expert eye for detail feel free to deliver process improvements, efficiencies and automation to make life easier.

It takes an exceptional individual to secure an exceptional role. Your standout academics, top 10 accounting firm training, and corporate accounting experience combine to make you the ideal hire. You've done the work at accountant level and are ready for the step up to senior accountant, or you may already be a senior accountant but want to cracking into a operating/producing mining company.

You are a real problem solver, solution focused, with a can do attitude, robust work ethic, and aspirations to grow into managerial positions in the medium term. Whether in person, on the phone, over email, on screen, you are an effective communicator with all levels of stakeholders, presenting your ideas, feedback, and insights confidently. Bonus points if you have already adopted AI, or are willing to learn the latest in technological advances.
