We are partnering with a well established global infrastructure business to recruit an experienced Senior Legal Counsel. This is a key growth role. You will join a high-calibre, commercially focused legal team and play a central role in enabling the business to secure and deploy power at scale, supporting both current operations and new market entries in this fast-moving, high-stakes sector.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the negotiation, drafting, and review of complex commercial agreements, including power purchase agreements (PPAs), offtake agreements, EPC contracts, O&M; agreements, interconnection agreements, and joint venture/partnership arrangements for renewable energy projects.
- Oversee regulatory compliance across energy, environmental, land-use, and grid-connection frameworks, ensuring the business meets evolving national and state renewable energy, climate, and electricity market regulations.
- Working with specalised teams, you will provide strategic legal advice on project development, corporate transactions, and joint ventures in the renewable energy sector.
- Manage legal risk across the project lifecycle—from site acquisition and development through construction, operation, and decommissioning—by identifying, assessing, and mitigating contractual, regulatory, and commercial risks.
- Advise the executive team and board on corporate governance, ESG-related legal obligations, sustainability reporting requirements,



and emerging climate and energy transition policy developments that impact the business.
- Act as a trusted business partner to commercial, development, finance, and operations teams, translating complex legal and regulatory issues into practical, commercially focused advice that supports the company’s growth and renewable energy strategy.

About You

- 8 + years post-qualification experience from a top-tier firm
- Commercially sharp, pragmatic, and collaborative, with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, high-growth global business.
- Genuine interest in the intersection of renewable energy, infrastructure development, and next-generation technology.
