Senior Legal Counsel – Real Estate (5+ Years PQE) - Sydney Our client is a leading Australian property development and construction group with a strong reputation for delivering landmark residential and mixed-use projects. With a multi-billion dollar pipeline currently in progress, they are continuing to expand their in-house legal capability to support growth across acquisitions, developments, and retail projects.

Position Description Reporting directly to the General Counsel and working as part of a high-calibre in-house legal team, this role will see you providing a wide range of legal advice on property and development matters.

Key responsibilities include: Advising on acquisitions, disposals, leasing and development projects;

Drafting and reviewing property and commercial transaction agreements and contracts;

Collaborating with senior internal stakeholders and managing external advisors; and





Mentoring and supporting junior members of the legal team.

Ideal Candidate The successful candidate will have: 5+ years’ PQE in property law, gained from a leading private practice or established in-house team.

Exposure to property development, leasing and acquisitions. Construction would be a bonus.

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to mentor junior lawyers. On offer is a highly competitive salary and a great team culture with robust career progression.
