Legal Support Officer – APS 3

- 6 month labour hire contract with scope for a further extension

Overview

Our Federal Government client is seeking a Legal Support Officer at the APS 3 level to undertake administrative support services to meet the day to day needs of the legal practice groups.

In this role you will be required to undertake activities including:

- Creation and administration of case files, photocopying, filing, data entry, and records management
- Drafting emails, routine correspondence and documents from templates
- Witness coordination, drafting summons/subpoenas, arranging travel and other court-related tasks
- Preparing court materials, undertaking deliveries and collections, and lodging/filing documentation
- Conducting basic research activities, arranging video conferencing, interpreters and translators
- Liaising with Federal Prosecutors, external agencies, courts and counsel





Skills & Experience

- Knowledge and experience in delivery of a broad range of support services in a corporate and/or legal environment
- Ability to apply judgement and provide advice using established procedures
- Ability to respond flexibly and positively to change
- Research and analysis skills, resolving issues based on established procedure
