About the Position
This is a full-time hybrid role. It will be primarily office based, with the ability to work from home one day per week. The on-site role will be in the offices in Dianella currently, as our rooms in Nedlands are refurbished. This is expected to be completed in August.
Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised professional to join our team as a career paralegal. We are looking for someone who can draft documents, looking for a challenge and rewarding career with opportunities for growth in a vibrant, forward thinking, fast growing business.
This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, quality, and timely delivery of medicolegal reports for our independent medical assessment services. You will provide comprehensive administrative and document drafting support to our medical specialists while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders including doctors, insurers, patients,
employers, and legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Pre-Assessment and Administrative Support
- Liaise with law firms and insurers to obtain medicolegal documentation.
- Manage pre-assessment process and report templates.
- Process and transcribe dictation from medical specialists, where required.
- Finalise medicolegal reports and supporting documentation.
- Prepare WorkCover forms and other required documentation.
- Maintain accurate records, documentation and filing systems ensuring all relevant records are accurately managed

- Co-ordinate report delivery to external and key stakeholders.
- Support general administrative duties as required.
- Ensure sensitive information is managed appropriately and compliantly.
Required Experience and Qualifications
- Proven and demonstrated experience in a similar role within the medical, allied health, and/or personal injury and/or accident compensation industry.
- Strong attention to detail, written and verbal communication skills with exceptional English proficiency and proofreading skills.
- Computer literacy with competency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and IT programs for patient and data management.
- Strong, pro-active team player with excellent time management and organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise and manage competing timeframes.
