Position Purpose:

The Migration Consultant will provide information, advice and processing of applications for international students seeking migration, work, study and sponsorship opportunities in Australia.Driving the achievement of customer service, satisfaction, retention, and customer success.

Also provide training to fellow counsellors on product knowledge, visa updates and support their ongoing career development.

Responsibilities:

Provide information and advice to international students, prospective migrants and their families regarding visa options and opportunities to continue to stay/study in Australia

Liaising with clients face-to-face, over the phone, and via email

Follow up leads and enquiries from interstate STUDYNET offices

Maximise the number of conversion & applications submitted

Expertise in GSM, Permanent Residency (subclass 189, 491, 190, 186), subclass 482, RSMS, ENS and partner/family visa

Preparation and submission of applications to DHA or related institutions/bodies

Ability to work to deadlines and prioritise the workload.

Managing client communication and deadlines

Obtain offers and facilitate enrolments specifically related to Professional Year (PY),



NAATI or other related courses for skilled migration purposes

To provide regular updates/training to staff and students regarding migration regulations, visa conditions and related study options

Provide team with advice and planning when dealing with specific clients and visa requirements/issues

Promote other products and services offered by STUDYNET ex; Student enrolments, OSHC & OVHC & Professional Year.

Provide input on marketing activities to promote our brand awareness, expo, promotion and opening new doors

The successful candidate will have:

Registered Migration Agent

Minimum of 3 or more years’ experience in a same or similar role

Have a strong understanding of Australian immigration law and policy.

Excellent communication skills, coordination, problem-solving skills and love helping people.

Must have leadership and presentation skills

Professional but friendly approach

Self-motivated and able to work independently, manage the high volume of cases and work under pressure and take ownership of client job.

Ability to maximize the conversion rate
