It's also a start up, flat structure, no layers between you and the people making the big calls. You'll get genuine exposure to heavy hitters across energy, finance and government.

The role is a hybrid of Product Control and Treasury Analyst. Contracts are going live now through to 2030, so the derivatives side of this job isn't theoretical, you'll be watching them come to life in real time.

The role:

- Daily P&L; and risk reporting
- Settlement verification on complex energy contracts




- Valuation support for structured contracts and derivatives
- Investigating anomalies and explaining them to management

Energy market exposure is about as relevant as it gets right now, and that's only going to grow. You'll be working with contract structures that barely exist anywhere else in the Australian market, giving you exposure most treasury professionals spend a career chasing.

What you'll need:

- 2 to 6 years experience
- Robust Excel and modelling skills and must be able to understand an Option
- Genuine curiosity about energy markets and the NEM
