Advocate for regional communities through integrated, customer-centred transport delivery.
In this role, you'll:
Provide strategic leadership ensuring regional and community needs are represented and delivered through Transport's planning, investment, and delivery programs.
Lead coordination of precinct-based strategies, governance, and partnerships advocating for connected, customer-centred, sustainable transport outcomes aligned with NSW Government strategic objectives.
Identify community needs and advocate for appropriate outcomes for Councils and communities. Drive alignment between regional, local,
and state planning by influencing strategy, policy, and funding decisions across Transport and partner agencies.
Oversee Transport's engagement in high-profile regional forums including Ministerial and Government Services responses and major development proposals. Lead cross-agency and council partnerships advocating for coordinated multimodal outcomes enhancing accessibility, safety, and sustainability.
Please note this is a permanent opportunity based within the West region, with a requirement to attend a Transport office in Parkes in line with the hybrid workplace policy.
