: Senior Mechanical Designer with experience in mining, heavy industry and industrial sectors, based in the Townsville office. As part of a multi‑disciplinary team, you will work across all project phases from studies through to detailed engineering and execution, supporting projects in underground and open‑cut mining, minerals processing, smelting, mining support infrastructure, and general industrial facilities such as refineries, sugar mills, ports, and water & wastewater installations.

Responsibilities - Drive technical outcome and support project delivery across all phases.

- Develop detailed concept designs, technical reports, specifications, and as‑built drawings ensuring innovation and safety.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver engineering solutions that meet client objectives.
- Maintain strong client relationships and ensure clear communication of project goals.

Qualifications - Minimum of 5+ years of design drafting experience on mining or industrial projects.

- Recognized qualification such as an Associate Degree, Bachelor of Engineering Technology, or equivalent.




- Highly proficient in core software packages including AutoCAD, Plant 3D, SteelCAD, Navisworks and MicroStation.
- Revit experience is advantageous.
- Robust collaboration and communication skills with a team‑player mindset.
