Role: Senior Project Manager - Data Infrastructure

Location: Sydney

Years of Experience: 7-10 years

Responsibilities:

- Lead the planning and implementation of data infrastructure projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, while mitigating risks and resolving issues as they arise.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Oversee the development and execution of project plans, including resource allocation and timeline management.
- Facilitate communication between technical teams and business units to ensure project success.
- Monitor project progress and performance, providing regular updates to senior management.
- Ensure adherence to best practices in data management and infrastructure development.
- Conduct post-project evaluations to identify areas for improvement and implement lessons learned.

Mandatory Skills:

- Solid expertise in Data Infrastructure, including data warehousing, ETL processes, and data governance.




- Proven experience in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.).
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience with cloud-based data solutions (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Familiarity with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI).
- Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL).
- Certifications in project management (PMP, PRINCE2) are a plus.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 7-10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on data infrastructure.
- Proven track record of successful project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
