The Person

First, the company is seeking a Senior Project Manager with at least 10 years of experience who has completed at least 3 projects of $30M+ from inception to delivery, ideally from SA.

Your understanding of the local market and network of subcontractors here would be highly regarded and valued in your sector, as being the Project Director would put you in a place of complete ownership, where you'd literally be part of the business.

Second, someone who has come to enjoy mixed-use apartment projects over the years and is passionate enough about them to dedicate themselves to that sub-sector for a couple of years at the very least.

Third, you're looking for a long-term home where you can buy into the business, which is next to impossible in most other construction companies.
