Are you an experienced Project Manager with a passion for delivering high-quality commercial/ retail spaces? This is an chance to join a global retailer as a Senior Project Manager and play a key role in driving their new flagship stores across the country! Reporting to the Head of Store Design & Construction Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of current build construction projects—from initial design to final handover.
You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure new stores are delivered on time, within budget, and to our clients global standards.
What you will do
- Lead and manage new build, greenfield retail construction projects
- Develop and execute project plans, including scope, timelines, and cost governance.
- Oversee procurement, supplier management, and subcontractor performance.
- Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and technical standards.
- Conduct site inspections and manage site handovers. (Interstate travel required)
- Identify risks, resolve issues, and drive value engineering initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal teams, landlords, contractors, and global headquarters.
- Continuously improve processes, sharing learnings for future projects.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: 5 years delivering construction projects either with a head contractor or client side group. New build project and retail project experience will be viewed preferably but not neccessary
- Skills: Strong project management, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge: Degree in Construction Project Management (or relevant equivalent).
- Mindset: Agile, adaptable, and proactive with a "can-do" attitude.
