Are you an experienced Pharmacy leader ready to make a lasting impact? North West Hospital and Health Service is seeking a visionary Director of Pharmacy to lead and shape Pharmacy services across one of Queensland's most diverse and rewarding health regions.

About The Role

As the Director of Pharmacy, you will lead the strategic, professional and operational direction of Pharmacy services across North West Hospital and Health Service.

Working closely with executive leaders, clinicians and regional stakeholders, you will drive contemporary models of care, strengthen workforce sustainability and champion excellence in medication safety and clinical service delivery.

Working with us

- Eligible health practitioners entitled to accrue an additional three days professional development leave per annum, resulting in a total of six days professional development leave per annum.
- Eligible health practitioners working in designated remote areas will be entitled to a professional development allowance of $3,512.00 per annum.
- Rural and Remote incentive: Category D allowance of $431.22 p.f.
- Tax savings through salary sacrificing options are also available.

Requirements

- This position participates in a Pharmacy Department roster plan,



which may include an ‘On Call' Service and weekend work.
- Mandatory requirements are a relevant tertiary degree qualification and appropriate registration/licences.
- C Class Motor Vehicle Licence.
- Pre-employment screening will be conducted for the successful applicant, including Criminal History checks.
- This is a VPD risk role and may require evidence of vaccination or immunity to: Hepatitis A/B, Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis, and Tuberculosis.
- A period of probation may apply.
