About the role:
- Advising employers on complex employment, industrial relations and workplace strategy matters.
- Managing contentious and non-contentious issues arising throughout the employment relationship.
- Assisting clients with workplace investigations, terminations, restructures, performance matters and executive employment issues.
- Advising on enterprise bargaining, industrial disputes,
workforce change and regulatory compliance.
- Drafting high-quality advices, employment documents, submissions and correspondence.
- Managing client relationships and contributing to the supervision and development of junior lawyers.
The ideal candidate:
- Senior Associate with 4+ years PAE with a strong background across employment, workplace relations or industrial law
- Excellent legal analysis, drafting and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to provide practical, strategic and commercially focused advice.
- Confidence managing matters and client relationships independently.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a national, high-performing team.
- A genuine interest in developing your career within a leading employment practice.
