About the Role

We are seeking a motivated Secretary / Paralegal to support our busy Crime Team. You will work closely with our criminal lawyers, assisting with file management, administrative support, communication with clients and external stakeholders, and day-to-day practice operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Draft correspondence, legal documents, and briefs
- Liaise with clients, police prosecutors, counsel, and court staff
- Manage diaries, court dates, and appointments
- Prepare invoices and maintain accurate records
- Assist with disclosure, file preparation, and case management
- Provide general administrative and paralegal support to the team

About You

- A minimum of 1 year experience in a secretarial or similar administrative role
- Typing speed of 60–70 words per minute
- A high level of English skills,



with excellent grammar and attention to detail
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing deadlines
- Confident communication skills and a professional, calm approach
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer literacy
- A proactive attitude and genuine interest in criminal law
- Minimum Year 12 completion
