Masala Indian Cuisine is hiring a Full time full-time cook for Indian restaurant role in Mackay, QLD.

Requirements for this role:

Masala Indian Cuisine at Mackay is currently hiring an experienced Cook for our busy restaurant offering fine dine, catering, functions and takeaway facilities. We are looking for a motivated team member. Must be able to work weekends.

6 Days A week (Dinner and 1 day lunch)

Duties:

- Food preparation and cooking, plating and presentation.
- Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies.
- Innovative in producing recent idea for menu and special occasions .




- Able to deal with big catering and functions orders.
- Able to work in busy environment, including weekends and public holidays.
- Train and assist other kitchen staff if required.
- All other required cook duties.
- Maintain High standards of personal / work hygiene. Comply with all the rules and regulations by the health department.

Requirement:

- 2-3 years Cook experience. Experience preferred in Indian cuisine.
- For cook Cert III / Cert IV in cookery.
- Team working oriented. Excellent communication and organisation skills.
- High standard of personal hygiene.
- Work independently without supervision,
- Work in a fast pace environment.

Minimum Experience:

- Cook 2 year ( Preferred)
