Prestige Pontoons is seeking an enthusiastic and hardworking Yard Laborer/Pontoon Builder to join our team at our Molendinar facility on the Gold Coast. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity to develop practical skills in a dynamic marine manufacturing environment.
You will be working hands‑on in our yard, contributing to the construction and assembly of high‑quality pontoons. This role is perfect for someone who takes pride in their work and is eager to learn the trade within a supportive team setting.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with the construction and assembly of pontoon components
- Preparing materials and work areas for pontoon building operations
- Performing general labouring tasks including material handling, loading and unloading
- Maintaining a clean and organised work environment in the yard
- Following health and safety protocols and procedures at all times
- Operating basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Concreting
- Assisting with the finishing and detailing of completed pontoons
What we're looking for
- A strong work ethic and commitment to high‑quality workmanship
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in a yard environment
- Basic understanding of health and safety requirements in construction and manufacturing
- Willingness to learn new skills and take on training opportunities
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliability and punctuality
- Experience in labouring, construction, or manufacturing environments
- Able to use power tools
- Attention to detail and problem‑solving abilities
- Must have a drivers Licence
