We are seeking an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead and coordinate warehouse, freight and delivery operations. This is a hands-on role requiring a strong leader who can effectively manage people, processes, inventory, and transport activities while maintaining a protected and efficient workplace.

About the Role

Reporting to the DC Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all warehouse and delivery operations to ensure products are dispatched accurately, deliveries are completed on time, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.

This role combines operational leadership with a hands-on approach. From managing drivers and warehouse staff to coordinating freight providers and supporting day-to-day warehouse activities, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth running of the branch.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee and coordinate the accurate flow of products from warehouse to customers.
- Ensure all freight movements are accurately recorded and tracked.
- Supervise inventory handling, receiving, dispatch and storage activities.
- Assist with unloading containers and picking orders when required.
- Maintain warehouse presentation, safety and operational standards.

Delivery & Transport Management

- Manage and coordinate delivery drivers, contractors and casual labour.
- Plan and oversee daily delivery schedules to achieve DIFOT (Delivered In Full On Time)



targets.
- Ensure delivery activities are completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Monitor driver compliance, licences, qualifications and training requirements.
- Validate contractor timesheets and reconcile invoices.
- Manage relationships with transport providers and negotiate service outcomes and pricing.
- Ensure company vehicles are maintained, serviced and presented to a high standard.

Leadership & Safety

- Provide leadership, coaching and mentorship to warehouse and delivery team members.
- Conduct regular team meetings and communicate operational priorities.
- Drive compliance with WHS policies, procedures and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
- Maintain plant, equipment and facility compliance including servicing and maintenance requirements.

To be successful in this role you will bring

- Proven experience in warehouse, transport or logistics supervision.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, freight management and delivery coordination.
- Demonstrated leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
- Excellent planning, organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to operational accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Customer-focused approach with strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Sound commercial acumen and decision-making capability.
- Current driver’s licence
- Forklift licence
