Chandler Macleod is seeking a skilled and motivated Power BI & Data Reporting Officer to join a Federal Government team based in Canberra (Fairbairn) on a 12-month contract.

This role sits within a dynamic section responsible for driving business improvement, data-driven decision making, and innovative solutions across a complex regulatory environment. You will play a key role in supporting reporting capabilities, enhancing data quality, and enabling stakeholders to make informed operational decisions.

Key Responsibilities

- Support the development, maintenance, and enhancement of reporting solutions using Power BI.
- Contribute to ongoing improvements in the collection, management, and quality of operational data.
- Provide training, guidance, and support to internal stakeholders on reporting tools and data processes.
- Assist with data analysis and reporting activities to support business objectives and performance monitoring.
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to identify opportunities for process and reporting improvements.

About You

- Experience and understanding of data modelling within Power BI.
- Previous experience working with data, reporting, or business intelligence solutions.




- Solid analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to engage effectively with a range of stakeholders and translate business requirements into reporting solutions.
- A proactive approach to continuous improvement and innovation.
