Utilise broad knowledge and advanced skills to resolve novel and complex problems in the radiation therapy treatment and planning areas. The primary purpose of the Senior Radiation Therapist role is to act as a Team Leader for a radiation therapy treatment unit or treatment planning section, ensuring the safe, effective, and high-quality delivery of radiation therapy services.
The position applies advanced clinical knowledge and skills to resolve complex treatment planning and delivery issues while maintaining professional standards, protocols, and patient care outcomes. The role also provides leadership, supervision, education, and support to radiation therapy staff and students, contributing to service quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
Salary and Working Hours - $139,014 to $145,653 per annum - 12% superannuation contribution on top of base salary - Schedule up to 76 hours per fortnight, including on-call duties as part of the roster. Working hours subject to negotiation.
- Salary packaging options include living expenses up to $9,010, meal entertainment $2,650 per FBT year, and other benefits as eligible.
- Market allowance of 10% of base salary for this role.
- Salary range in accordance with Radiation Therapist Agreement 2022.
