About The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Senior Recruitment Advisor to join a Tier 1 joint venture contractor delivering one of Melbourne's most complex and high-profile infrastructure projects. This is a fast-paced, high-volume role with a live requisition load of 40+ positions and a large, busy project team to support.
You will be working as part of a broader recruitment function and need to operate autonomously from day one, managing your own administration and moving at the pace a major project demands.
We are looking for someone who thrives under pressure, knows major project recruitment inside out, and can make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities Of The Senior Recruitment Advisor
- Manage end-to-end recruitment across 40+ concurrent requisitions spanning a broad range of project roles.
- Partner with hiring managers across a large project team to understand requirements and deliver quality candidates quickly.
- Draft and manage contract templates and onboarding documentation independently.
- Maintain accurate candidate and requisition records throughout the process.
- Source candidates through job boards, LinkedIn, and direct headhunting.
- Provide regular updates and reporting on recruitment activity and pipeline status.
- Manage candidate experience from initial contact through to offer and onboarding.
What You Can Bring as the Senior Recruitment Advisor
- Proven experience as a recruiter within a major project or construction environment - essential.
- Demonstrated ability to manage high volumes of concurrent roles at pace without compromising on quality.
- Strong administration capability including drafting contracts and managing documentation independently.
- Experience working within Tier 1 contractor or major infrastructure project environments highly regarded.
- Familiarity with PageUp or similar ATS platforms desirable but not essential.
- Self-sufficient, resilient, and comfortable operating in a demanding, rapid-moving environment.
- Immediate availability or very short notice period preferred.
- Must be able to commit to 5 days per week in the office.
