Are you an experienced SMSF Accountant looking to take the next step in your career with an established and growing Geelong-based accounting firm? This is an opportunity to join a well-established SMSF team in a Senior capacity, managing a diverse portfolio of complex superannuation funds from start to finish. You’ll be trusted to take ownership of your work, identify technical issues and opportunities, and provide high-quality outcomes for clients.

Working closely with Managers, Directors and the wider accounting team, you’ll have the opportunity to work across a broad range of SMSF structures while also reviewing and delegating work to junior team members.

About You

- Around 5+ years' experience working in an accounting firm, with a strong focus on SMSF.
- Relevant Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Commerce or Business.
- Strong technical knowledge of SMSF compliance and superannuation legislation.
- Exposure to a range of fund structures and investments, including pension funds, unit trusts, property, LRBA arrangements, shares, managed funds and wrap accounts.
- Strong experience preparing SMSF financial statements, investment reports, annual returns, minutes, pension documentation, TBARs, BAS and lump sum documentation.
- Experience researching and resolving technical superannuation matters.




- Previous experience reviewing the work of junior accountants and providing guidance where required.
- Experience with Class Super is highly desirable, with exposure to MYOB AE, FYI Elite, Kofax and Microsoft Office advantageous.
- SMSF Association Specialist Course/Training would be highly regarded. What's on Offer:
