Built Environment Collective (BEC) is looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join team, based in Perth. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in structural design with experience and keen interest in delivering multi-disciplinary projects. In this role, you will be part of a highly experienced team delivering a diverse portfolio of projects for local, regional, interstate and international clients. You will have the opportunity to further develop your technical, design, asset management, and project management capabilities while working alongside experienced and collaborative colleagues in a supportive, high-performing environment.
You will engage with a broad range of internal and external stakeholders, playing a key role in project delivery and client interactions. - developing practical and innovative solutions by adapting standard methods to meet engineering challenges.
- applying strong communication skills and attention to quality to deliver clear, high-standard engineering outcomes meet client expectations.
- gathering and analysing data, performing calculations and analysis using established procedures to deliver projects within agreed budgets and schedules.
- having a keen or developing interest in aquatic engineering
- supporting successful project delivery by mentoring junior engineers while actively contributing to team and personal development.
Experience, Qualifications & Skills

Essential
- 6-10 years’ experience in structural engineering
- experience across multi-disciplinary engineering
- Australian Standards
- proficiency using structural analysis and design software (AutoDesk, SpaceGass, TEDDS) and Microsoft Office Packages
Beneficial
- experience using WorkflowMax.
- intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- understanding of project costing, job profitability, and project financial reporting.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Engineering (Structural)
- CPEng (or near-chartered) with Engineers Australia
- hold RPE in WA
- registration across other states highly regarded
