About the role:
Applications are invited from suitably qualified and enthusiastic medical practitioners to join our team at Western Health in the role of Medical Administration Manager for the 2027 Clinical Year (commencing 1 February 2027).
The position is designed to provide the trainee with exposure to medical management in a large and complex health service environment.
The trainee will also be exposed to Clinical Governance in a complex multi-campus healthcare setting through participation in accreditation, credentialing, clinical incident review, complaints management and quality improvement activities.
About you:
To be considered for this role, you will:
- Must be a registered medical practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia/Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Must be a candidate trainee of the Royal Australasian College of Medical Administrators (RACMA).
- Have a minimum of 3 years general clinical experience (PGY4+).
