About the Role
Reporting to the General Manager - Finance & Administration, you'll be responsible for leading the month-end reporting process while supporting budgeting, forecasting, statutory compliance and financial reporting.
Working as part of a close-knit finance team, you'll also provide payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable support during planned leave periods, ensuring continuity across the finance function.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate the month-end reporting process
- Prepare journals, accruals, reconciliations and management reports
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, audit and statutory reporting
- Complete BAS and FBT obligations in accordance with legislative requirements
- Provide payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable support during leave periods
- Drive process improvements to enhance reporting efficiency and internal controls
- Develop meaningful financial insights using reporting tools and dashboards
What You'll Bring
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline
- CPA or CA qualified (or currently working towards)
- Demonstrated experience in a Senior Accountant or similar finance position
- Strong month-end reporting, reconciliations and management reporting experience
- Experience preparing BAS and managing FBT compliance
- Exposure to payroll, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Strong experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
- Excellent analytical skills with a continuous improvement mindset
Preferred
- Experience within the not-for-profit, health or community services sectors
- Ready Workforce or Zambion experience
