Site Services Electrician – 4/3 Roster

Permanent Full‑Time Position.

Responsibilities

- Carrying out repairs, maintenance, and installation activities on infrastructure, including distribution boards, communications systems, lighting, and other electrical equipment.
- Interpreting drawings, specifications, and work orders to determine work requirements and the sequence of repairs and/or installations.
- Assisting with the planning and execution of shutdown activities.
- Following all site safety rules and instructions, while actively participating in toolbox meetings and safety initiatives.
- Completing all safety documentation and associated permits to a high standard.
- Maintaining accurate electronic job notes and test sheets using SimPro.
- Demonstrating a strong commitment to, and understanding of, protected work practices.
- Working collaboratively with supervisors and team members to ensure work is completed efficiently and to a high standard.
- 4 days on (day shift only) Monday to Thursday, 3 days off – every weekend off.





Requirements

- Relevant Electrical Trade Qualification.
- Manual C class driver’s licence.
- EWP, Working at Heights Licence and demonstrated sound experience working off scissor lifts.
- CPR/LVR valid within 12 months.
- Ability to work alone and hit deadlines with a high quality of workmanship and work ethics.
- Good knowledge of AS/NZS 3000.
- Test installations to a high standard and complete test sheets on all work.
- Must show a high standard of cleanliness and organisation.
- Be seen as a relaxed, loyal, well‑communicated and eager to perform team member that is committed to being part of the daily challenges and changes of large mine sites.
- Be actively involved working on solutions to get the job done while maintaining a level of safety and site compliance.
- Have your own extensive personal tool kit including battery tooling.
- Full Australian working rights (citizen or permanent resident).
- Ability to pass pre‑employment and ongoing drug and alcohol testing.
- Police clearance required every 12 months.

Most importantly, we’re looking for someone who has a strong work ethic, a can‑do attitude, and enjoys the challenge of varied work on site every day.

Nice to Have

- Experience in small project/installation work (ideally commercial or industrial) – extensive domestic experience will also be considered.
- A/C split system installation ticket/licence and relevant experience.




- Data licence and have sound experience with installing data cables/patch panels, data outlets.
- HV Switching.
- HR drivers Licence.
- Live within a 100 km radius of the Boddington township.
- Demonstrate that living away will not impede your personal life or performance.
- Minor fabrication of brackets, steel conduit work and cable tray installation.
- Have used the SimPro and INX software packages in prior work experiences.
